School - house
Stay in School House, could be a great experience for you, School-house is strongly recommended, since you´ll have two teachers available 24 hours. In School-house system the students stay in a private room inside the school (not a big room, but comfortable), where they´re sharing the house with Fernando and Maria José, you also will have the opportunity to regularly practice newly-acquired language skills as well as to experience the language in an everyday, bustling, real-life context and learn a lot about the Nicaraguan Culture.
Although in School-house stay more than one student, all of them have one private room with a bathroom, and the only one rule is:
WE ONLY SPEAK SPANISH, THAT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE IN THE SPANISH SCHOOL!!!
Spanish school - house. Including 20 spanish class hours per week (one on one like the basic program), but the student stay living in the School. Living with natives speakers is imperative and important element in a total immersion language learning. While you are living with the director and his family, you have the opportunity to regularly practice newly-acquired language skills as well as to experience the language in an everyday, since all of the conversations are developing in real-life context, and the best part is you´ll have a teacher 24 hours, because you are living in the Spanish school.

Nica-living: living with a local family.
Stay with a local family in San Juan del Sur (Nicaragua) is an important element of the total immersion program of study. While you are living with the family, you have the opportunity to regularly practice newly-acquired language skills as well as to experience the language in an everyday, bustling, real-life context of a new and different culture.
All of our families are carefully selected, and all of them have been working with us for several years. Each family hosts a limited number of students (usually one), couples, or families in order to maximize the opportunity to speak in a native language. While a family home stay is recommended, it is not required. Students may make their own living arrangements, perhaps staying in a hotel or renting a nearby apartment, and the weekly tuition is accordingly decreased Spanish classes and lodging. Living with a local family in San Juan del Sur (Nicaragua) is an helpfull element in a total immersion program of study.
